Successful 2-1-1 Launch!
With a February 22, 2006
kickoff, U.S. Representative Richard “Doc” Hastings made
the “first call” from his district office in Pasco to the Greater
Columbia 2-1-1 Call Center in Yakima. (Click here to listen.)
Now all residents in Adams, Benton, Chelan, Clark, Douglas, Franklin,
Grant, Klickitat, Kittitas, Lincoln, Okanogan, Walla Walla and Yakima
counties have easy access to Health, Human and Social Services, as well as
Volunteer Agencies throughout this five county region.
The call center is located at People For People, 302 W.
Lincoln Avenue, Yakima, and operates 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday. (Se
