Job Search Strategies
The Dislocated Worker Program provides career and training services to individuals who: have lost their jobs through no fault of their own, are unlikely to return to their previous industry or occupation and are eligible for, receiving or have exhausted their unemployment benefits. The program offers services designed to help these individuals obtain quality employment in in-demand industries.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Receive, eligible for or exhausted unemployment benefits
- Laid off and unlikely to return to previous occupation
- Meet the definition of a Displaced Homemaker
- Males: Registered for selective service
- Long term unemployed (27 weeks or more)
